The WSO2 Enterprise Integrator for Administrator training is meant for system administrators to master their skills in managing the WSO2 Enterprise Integrator. The WSO2 EI for Administrator course focuses on the administrative tasks of WSO2 EI but also starts with labs that show the working of the product so admins have more insight into the WSO2 Enterprise Integrator. As part of the training we will cover how the WSO2 EI works from the perspective of mediation and transformation, the message flow inside WSO2 EI is explained and trainees will create a simple service on the WSO2 EI and deploy it. Apart from that part, other more administrative topics and labs are covered like clustering, Secure Vault, Logging etc.

Audience
This course targets system administrators who are in charge of the maintenance and support of their WSO2 EI production systems. It also targets SOA architects whom may be interested in typical administrative and performance-related challenges of a successful WSO2 EI deployment.

Target
After attending this course, participants will be able to perform the following activities: identify and implement appropriate deployment strategies, (i.e. high availability, scalability, multi-tenancy), performance-tune your system, connect to databases and LDAPs, manage version upgrades and application lifecycle.

Minimum required knowledge before you enter the course
No specific WSO2 knowledge is required, though a basic understanding of the principles of message-oriented middleware and ESB mediation is recommended. Basic experience in XML and (Java) programming experience is mandatory. System administration skills are expected, including OS (Linux) and networking configuration.

You are required to bring your own laptop. We will provide you all necessary virtual servers running on Amazon (AWS) you need to follow this course. You can extend the usage of the Training LABS and Training materials on Amazon (AWS) for 1 week directly after the Training period for a fixed fee.
