Yenlo has joined the Evolveum partner network as a system integrator for midPoint, the open source identity governance and administration (IGA) platform. The partnership adds identity governance to Yenlo’s integration, API management and identity & access management portfolio, giving customers a way to manage digital identities and access alongside the systems Yenlo already connects for them.
What midPoint does
midPoint is the leading open source IGA platform, built and maintained by Evolveum since 2011. It automates how organisations provision and deprovision accounts, enforce access policies, run access certifications and keep an audit trail of who can reach which systems. Because midPoint is open source under the European Union Public Licence, customers avoid the licensing lock-in of proprietary identity suites while keeping the option of professional support from Evolveum and Yenlo.

A logical next step for Yenlo
For Yenlo, identity governance is a natural extension of its existing work. Yenlo already connects applications and exposes APIs on WSO2, where it is a Platinum partner, on Boomi, and on its own Connext platform, and handles the technical side of access with identity and access management. midPoint adds the governance and administration layer on top: managing roles, authorisations and access policies, so access and integration are designed together rather than bolted on afterwards.
