Supporting Education in Sri Lanka: A Special Initiative
At Yenlo, we believe in the power of education to transform lives. With our strong connection to Sri Lanka — where we have an office and we have many valued colleagues coming from Sri Lanka — we’re proud to support H/ Gangeyaya Junior School in Hambantota.
This rural school serves 85 children, many of whom come from families with limited resources. Government funding often bypasses smaller schools like this one, leaving children without access to basic educational tools.
We’re stepping in to make a difference by providing:
- Educational supplies: A smart board for the classroom and sports equipment.
- Personal items: School bags, shoes, and other essentials.
- Financial support: Yenlo will also make a financial donation to this great initiative!
On January 17, 2025, our team will visit the school personally to deliver these items and spend time with the children. This visit is about more than just supplies — it’s about showing these kids and their community that they are valued and supported.
Why This Initiative Matters:
Sri Lanka holds a special place in Yenlo’s story, with many of our colleagues based there. By investing in local education, we hope to inspire and empower the next generation to create a brighter future for themselves and their community.
