Background
The TRUMPF Group is a German family-owned company with its head office in Ditzingen near Stuttgart, generating a multi-billion Euro revenue. TRUMPF is one of the world’s biggest providers of machine tools, employing about 14,300 highly skilled employees. As a pioneer in additive manufacturing methods, TRUMPF also provides complete solutions with machines, beam sources and services. With more than 70 operative subsidiaries, the TRUMPF Group is represented in all important markets worldwide. Bringing ever smarter solutions to this highly competitive world market is an essential survival strategy. Due to the high demand of its products and the complicated production line, the TRUMPF Group is always in need of highly functional IT solutions.
The challenge
Making the customer experience and engagement as easy as possible, the TRUMPF Group uses a web shop in order to make sure customers can get what they need without any hassle. The web shop, attracting lots of visitors, allows prospective customers to browse through an extended catalogue of machines for bending, punching, combined punch and laser processing and also laser cutting and welding applications. On top of that, the TRUMPF Group also offers diverse automation solutions and a range of software for digitally connected production solutions.
Processing all of these orders in a rather short time requires perfect harmony between men, machine and different types of software.
“One of the reasons we chose for WSO2 was because other platforms didn’t have such good implementation partners like Yenlo. We want the best software and implementation partners.”
