The event was especially organized for companies who want to select a proper API Gateway solution to implement their API Strategy for their own Digital Transformation. There were some nice keynotes from companies like our customer Deutsche Bahn, who implemented a disruptive digital solution with an “API first” approach.
Open Source Buidling Blocks presentation Yenlo
APIs are everywhere and picking a specific platform to manage them is not an easy task. The plethora of available API Gateway or API Management solutions, makes this task even more challenging.
Jochen Traunecker, Solution Architect at Yenlo, had a presentation slot at the APICON where he presented the typical building blocks, fundamental concepts and processes, which can be found scattered in API management platforms. Keeping them in mind during the selection process of an API management platform could avoid getting lost in all the details that individual solutions offer.
In the presentation, a selection of open source API management platforms got utilized to map the presented building blocks against available solutions and how they got implemented.
